It’s not about forcing people to change and condemning them for not being perfect about it. But It is about letting people know that there is a better way, a better us waiting. And we can meet those versions of us through living better if we wish to do so. There’s freedom, information and options available to support us along the way. Starting with that one small step at a time, with that one green day a week. With those simple day-to-day choices we make, we’re really changing the world. Green Monday สนับสนุนการเริ่มต้นชีวิตแบบ “Flexitarian” (มังสวิรัติแบบยืดหยุ่น) โดยการเริ่มต้นการ ”ลด” (≠งดทันที) ปริมาณการบริโภคเนื้อสัตว์ลงโดยเริ่มจากแค่หนึ่งวันต่ออาทิตย์ เหตุผลที่ยิปเชื่อใน @greenmonday_official เพราะยิปนับถือการให้ความสำคัญกับการประนีประนอม และความเข้าใจ ว่าการเปลี่ยนแปลงเพื่อสิ่งที่ดีเป็นเรื่องจำเป็น แต่ก็เป็นเรื่องจำเป็นที่ต้องอาศัยความอ่อนโยน ความใจเย็น ต้องอาศัยการไม่ตัดสิน ไม่บีบบังคับ ไม่บอกว่าอะไรถูกผิด แต่ทำให้เราเห็นว่าทุกวันนี้ที่เราคิดว่าดีแล้วว่ามันมีทางเลือกที่ดีกว่า ชีวิตแบบที่ดีกว่าและตัวเราคนที่ดีกว่าที่กำลังรอให้เรารู้จัก ขอแค่เราเปิดใจ ว่าสิ่งที่เราทำอยู่ทุกวันด้วยความเคยชินไม่ใช่ชีวิตแบบเดียวที่เราจะมีได้ ว่าทุกครั้งที่เราบอกตัวเองว่าเราไม่มีทางเปลี่ยนได้เป็นเรื่องที่ไม่จริง เราแค่ต้องค่อยๆทำ อย่างใจเย็น อย่างไม่ต่อว่ากันในวันที่เราผิดแผน เริ่มต้นกันทีละก้าว แค่ทีละหนึ่งมื้อต่อวัน หรือหนึ่งวันต่ออาทิตย์ ขอให้เราเห็นให้ได้ว่าเรากำลังเปลี่ยนโลกทั้งใบด้วยทางเลือกเล็กๆของเราเอง การเปลี่ยนตัวเองไม่ใช่เรื่องง่าย ถ้าเราทำด้วยกัน มันทำได้จริงๆค่ะ
