UNHCR and I are forever thankful for your support and hard work on raising awareness for refugees. We are here with Arafa and her son. She escaped violence and harassment. She has endured a 7 day journey by foot with her son. Her husband and brothers in their home country unable to flee. She is now in this UNHCR shelter after being relocated due to the high risk of landslides during monsoon season. She is afraid to return and is hopeful for the future. I grew deeply fond of her son and felt an immense amount of sadness when I held him knowing the violence he had witnessed and endured. เด็กและผู้ลี้ภัยมีความเปราะบางและเข้มแข็งที่ปูไม่สามารถอธิบายได้หมด ครอบครัวอาราฟ่า สอนอะไรปูมากมายเหลือเกิน พวกเขาลี้ภัยโดยที่ไม่อาจได้พบเจอครอบครัวได้อีก เดินทางอย่างโหดร้ายนาน 7 วันและต้องอาศัยตามป่าชายเลนโดยไม่มีอาหารอีก 7 วัน เด็กตัวเล็กๆคนนี้รอดชีวิตมาได้อย่างเข้มแข็ง ก่อนหน้านี้น้องต้องอยู่ในพื้นที่เสี่ยงต่อดินถล่ม และอันตรายจากหน้ามรสุมตอนนี้ได้ย้ายที่พักมาที่ปลอดภัยและได้รับความช่วยเหลือและเยียวยาจิตใจจาก #UNHCR @unhcr.thailand @refugees @UNHCR_BDH photo by @great_est

@yin_uchu PTSD among children of refugee families is a sad reality. Add on top of that childhood bullying and alienatiom faced oftentimes in their new countries. The struggle for these people is very real. Nice to see a talented and beautiful woman using social media for something other than selfies and self-promotion. Keep up the good work. 💕
