IG มารีญา พูลเลิศลาภ | Clean 1 pound of trash in the Ocean with 1 @4ocean bracelet! 🌊 I’m sure you’ve heard that “by 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than there is fish” (independence.co.uk) Or that “every minute one garbage truck of plastic is dumped into the ocean” (weforum.org). What can we do as individuals? We can take precautions by reducing our single use plastics by BYOB (bringing your own bag) or by boycotting ridiculous use of plastics... but what about what’s already out there? So much trash already resides in our oceans and I’ve decided I want to help clean it up by supporting @4ocean. Each bracelet purchased funds the removal of 1 pound of trash in the oceans. 2.3 millions pounds have been pulled already! You can help too! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Why is this so important to start now? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Mother Earth is home to over 8 million species, including us! What’s more is that... this diversification of species allows for natural sustainability. We all have a role to play and we all need eachother. However with the waste that ends up in the oceans and negative impact we inflict on this place we call home, marine life can no longer support this... and we have the ability and the responsibility to make a difference.
